shearing blades don't work

Hi,
We bought 2 shears and went out to use them and could not cut with them.* Are we using them wrong or do they need to be sharpened.* Please let us know as soon as you can.*

HI, do you have the blades misaligned? If you open the too much the blades get on the wrong side of eachother and they won't cut. If they won't cut at all not even a piece of paper then that is what happened. If they will cut a piece of paper but they won't cut the fleece then you might need to get them sharpened or you could be trying to cut too much wool with each cut. Usually the shears come with enough of an edge to do a bit of shearing but a professional sharpener will get them in much better shape than the way they come from the factory but they should be good for some shearing.
