Oh Marty,
I attended the State Classic as a first show with my pinto yearling. She was the only pinto female so she was put in the class of greys. Not only did she win that class, but she won color champion too. I fully believe her attitude and behavior helped tremendously. She was calm and composed even though she had a wild alpaca jumping around next to her. She acted as if the other animals weren't there.
Thank you so much for teaching me how to get my sweet girl to trust me enough to stand in all that confusion. We practiced early in the morning before everyone was there so we wouldn't be as nervous, she carried both of us because I was a wreck inside while she was calm and collected. I kept remembering to breathe slowly and act calm on the outside. While I was standing there waiting for my turn I went back to the handling you taught me and was so grateful for your patience and knowledge.
