Hello Marty,
We are new alpaca owners and will be getting our alpacas in april of this year. We are wondering if you have any hands on* clinic for training before then? We live in New York. We are willing to travel for the training, but want to have hands on training.
Thank you for any info you can provide,
*Cynthia
Hi Cynthia, thank-you so much for your question! Following is my schedule for next year. I wait until the first of the year to post my schedule so that I can try to spread myself around. I don't have a clinic scheduled in New York but I do have several scheduled on the east coast I hope to see you at one of them.
The camelid business is booming and I am busier than I have ever been. Creating a companionable relationship with alpacas while still getting the management job done efficiently is just plain ol' good marketing. People love alpacas and don't want to look at them from a distance they want to have animals that are comfortable with people and who are easy to manage.
I am pleased to announce this year the formation of a Camelidynamics Practitioners Guild. I will begin teaching teachers and in doing so will be able to provide a better level of service to owners and breeders throughout the world.
For more information about the training center and the Practitioners Guild download the Guild Guidelines from the guild page on the website.
